We trace our origins back to 1985 when John & Darlene Huether started the business, specializing in light commercial and residential construction. Over time, as the growing economy attracted more and more people to Southwest Florida, Gulfpoint capitalized on fulfilling the increasing demand for educational institutions and houses of worship. Today, in addition to schools and churches we have the privilege to construct financial institutions, commerce industrial parks, and manufacturing facilities.

PRE-CONSTRUCTION

Our pre construction services ensure every aspect of your project is thoroughly &  thoughtfully planned out; including anticipating unexpected issues that would otherwise cause delays.

 

We prioritize meeting all of your project's stated objectives while adhering to established time & budget requirements. We take the time to fully understand your unique needs and challenges, and then utilize our wide-ranging experiences to develop a custom-tailored construction management plan specific to your project.

 

Our team will evaluate the scope of work, design plans, and the project budget to help guide you through the initial phase.

 

Our cost estimating process includes periodic review points in conjunction with a reconciliation process designed to maintain the parameter of the project scope. We always work through the entire project conceptually from start to finish during the pre-construction phase in order to identify potential conflicts.

 

We feel that understanding the life cycle of a project in its entirety is an integral part of achieving a successful completion. We will bring our 35 years of experience to the pre-construction phase and apply a real working knowledge developed on the job to make certain your project is ready to break ground.

CAPABILITIES

We control the quality & costs of projects by selecting no more than five that are best suited to our strengths. We have bonding available up to $80 million per single project and $120 million aggregate.

SAFETY

At Gulfpoint Construction, safety is a number one priority. Having specialized in educational facilities & operating on numerous projects that were student occupied, we place heavy importance on securing our job site.
